Fanclastic 3D Designer

What is it?

FANCLASTIC 3D DESIGNER is an application that allows you to view step-by-step assembly instructions for the Fanclastic building set models and to design your own models. The software was developed by the Fanclastic team in 2017 and is being updated regularly.

What it does?

The application allows you to view step-by-step assembly instructions for the Fanclastic building set models and to design your own models.

How it works?

The program operates in two modes: “Instructions” and “Modeling”. In the “Instruction” mode you can view virtual assembly instructions for the Fanclastic models. They are self-explanatory and are more comprehensible than video or paper instructions. The instructions for model kits released in 2018 are available for downloading.

In the “Modeling” mode you can build objects using virtual elements of the Fanclastic building set, save models on the device and create your own assembly instructions. The application automatically creates a step-by-step instruction for each built model. You can share your models with the application users or your friends on social media.

For whom it was created?

The application is intended for everyone who use the Fanclastic building set.

Where to download it?

Main features

The program for 3D modeling has its features and terms.

  • A scene is a three-dimensional space where you build objects.
  • All 12 types of elements of the Fanclastic building set are available. The name of each element indicates a number of joints (where horizontal and vertical lines cross) in length and width. For instance, 6х1 element has 6 joints in length and 1 joint in width.
  • To add an element to the scene drag the corresponding icon (for instance, 1x1) from the elements' panel to the scene.
  • A camera anchor point is an invisible spot on the scene around which the camera revolves. The user sets and changes it on his/her own. To change a camera anchor point click on the focus setting button and then on any element or spot on the scene. To zoom in and out the camera, pinch.
  • Use the color select button to set a color for the selected elements. 8 colors are available.
  • To rotate selected elements use the rotation buttons. Each button rotates elements around a drawn axis of the corresponding color.

Before assembling press the “Help” button.
